Hi there! It's been awhile since my last update. Not that I'm busy or anything. Second week of this semester has been treating me great so far. Alhamdulillah. But I could say that extremely cold weather has been the only flaw this week. Having to endure the strong wind and slippery road for classes is a huge challenge at times like this. But as long as the temperature doesn't hit -40 (if I'm not mistaken), there's no way we can skip the classes.
Things we have to put up with as students in Moscow are not easy at all. So it's sad when such articles that trashed the standard of graduates from here were published in some Malaysian newspapers. Of course everybody will start having the impression that Russian graduates are bad at their skills or whatsoever. Not fair at all! This kind of thing is definitely depends on the individual itself. Come on, if you skip most of the classes and lectures there's no way you'll become a good doctor. It doesn't matter where you're studying- from a top world ranking universities to some infamous ones, if you're lazy, you'll never be good at anything. Period!
And as for this, people should just stop complaining and move on with their lives. You're sent here with the responsibility to study and serve the country later on. And you've agreed to that. Just do your job and everything will be over in no time. There's nothing easy out there for us so all we have to do is be strong as we go through life. Just be grateful of what you have. I admit that I had a breakdown once in awhile but achieving your dream is no easy business. Like they say, if you survived Russia, you can survive anywhere!
Becoming a doctor is not just passing exams and obtaining a degree at the end of five years. Medicine involves treating patients. and hence one has to have communication skills, be able to acquire new skills besides being able to develop charisma and self confidence.

One of the reasons why I'm still surviving Moscow is because I have a great support system.
