Spending winter break in Moscow is actually not bad at all. Although I felt like dying of boredom on the first day, and the day after, but then things started to fall into place by the third day. I realized this is the chance for me to relax and do nothing! Daytime is usually dedicated to HIMYM. Yes, I just started watching them and now I'm at season 5! Not so far behind right? And during the night, I pamper myself with facial masks, eye masks, manicure, pedicure etc. Since they're all so expensive here, I have to do it myself! But it's okay, not like I have anything else to do. It feels good when you know you have all the time in the world. Haha
After some time, I feel like my skin is deprived of vitamin D. So me and Nadiah walked to the supermarket near our apartment, feeling grateful for the minimum sunlight we have here. It was a great trip because Perekrestok finally got my Baskin Robbins Chocolate Almond! The next day we went to Metropolis with Hari to help him spend his money. Haha winter sale is almost over, so I need to make sure I didn't miss anything. After spending 10 hours in Metropolis, I couldn't feel my legs already. We ended the day with some desserts and hot gossips. *winkwink* It was a great day indeed. That reminds me, I still haven't unpack my stuff from this shopping trip. Sighhh
The sky was bright on the next day! I thought to myself, it will be such a waste to spend the day staying in. Luckily, My Russian teacher, Sasha invited us to an Ice Sculpture Festival near Luzhniki Stadium. Even though I wore a thick winter coat that day, I started shivering after a few hours. Bright sky equals to extremely cold weather here in Moscow. Weird, I know!
So far so good. Can't believe a week has passed. Another week left before the semester starts. Let's make the best out of it! Take care people! Till then. :)
P/s: Happy 75 months!
