10 Zulhijjah.

Selamat Hari Raya Aidil Adha to my fellow Muslims. Here in Moscow (and few other places I believe), celebrated this joyous celebration one day earlier than Muslims in Malaysia. It would be nice to join the prayers in the embassy today. Unfortunately, for some reasons I couldn't make it. One of my favorite thing about raya is listening to the Takbir. I got this most amazing feeling when I listen to them. Alhamdulillah, another chance to experienced AidilAdha. Hopefully we'll meet again next year.

Well one word that came to my mind when I think of Aidil Adha is sacrifice. This morning when I woke up, I thought of all the sacrifices that I've made till today. Of course, it's nothing compared to what Nabi Ibrahim a.s and Nabi Ismail a.s did. Yet, I reminded myself that we can't have everything that we want. Sometimes, He didn't give us what we asked for because He has a better plan for us. Something better that is. All we have to do is be patient and always have faith in Him.

I am grateful for everyone and every single thing that I have today. And I hope you do too! Always remember that there are more people who are less fortunate than us.

And again I would like to wish you readers Happy Eidul-Adha!
